Law Centre NI and the Irish Refugee Council host legal seminar on Life after Dublin

To mark Refugee Week 2021, Law Centre NI and the Irish Refugee Council recently hosted an online legal seminar “Life after Dublin” exploring the implications of Brexit on UK and Irish protection policy for asylum seekers.

The seminar considered some of the legal issues that have arisen post-Brexit for those in need of international protection and provided perspectives from Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

Chaired by Professor Colin Harvey from the School of Law at Queen’s University, attendees also heard from barristers Patricia Brazil and Adrian Berry, as well as representatives from the Irish Refugee Council and Law Centre NI.
