Law Centre NI launches FAQs on the self-employed income support scheme

The Law Centre NI employment hub has launched a new FAQs to help advisers and self-employed workers understand the UK Government’s ‘Self-Employed Income Support Scheme’.

The FAQs seeks to highlight the basic requirements around what support is available and who can access the scheme. It also looks at some other questions around how earnings will be calculated, tax returns and other support available through the social security system.

We have made a correction to the VAT deferral date on the document. It now has the correct date of 31 March 2021, rather than 30 June 2020.
