Law Centre (NI) has launched the 4th edition of Rights in Progress: A guide to the European Convention on Human Rights and the Human Rights Act.

The launch was held on Friday 14 June on Belfast Barge, with Michael O'Flaherty, Chief Commissioner of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission.  Published with support from the Commission, the guide, updated by Les Allamby and Jonathan Simpson, provides a practical introduction to the European Convention on Human Rights and the Human Rights Act by relating them to the daily work of advisers and other practitioners, analyses how they have been absorbed into domestic law and assesses their impact on social welfare law.
