The Law Centre’s Employment Rights Project runs a specialist advice line and representation service for workers and employees.

The service provides initial advice on employment law including:

  • Workplace disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Employee rights
  • Unfair dismissal and constructive dismissal
  • Variation and breach of contract
  • Unauthorised deductions of wages
  • Discrimination
  • Redundancy
  • Transfer of employment (Transfer of Undertakings/ Service Provision Change)
  • Employment status
  • Working time
  • Tribunal proceedings and procedure

The Employment Law Hub can provide assistance in resolving employment law issues and can provide representation at the employment tribunal subject to resource and in accordance with Law Centre’s strategic priorities in employment rights which include:

  • Redundancy
  • Transfer of Undertakings/Service Provision Change
  • Unfair and Constructive dismissal
  • Working time
  • Employee status
  • Assertion of statutory rights
  • Forced labour and exploitation
